Prof. Parker & Dr. Ritter featured on Wenweipo for their identification of AD 1181 supernova

Prof. Quentin Parker, Director of Laboratory for Space Research (LSR), and Dr. Andreas Ritter, Postdoctoral fellow at LSR, were interviewed by Wenweipo on discovery of the origin of a ‘guest star’ recorded by ancient Chinese. The identification of AD 1181 supernova was published in Astrophysical Journal letters in September 2021.
