Zhejiang University School of Aeronautics and Astronautics: Microsatellites Research Group

Zhejiang University Micro-Satellites Research Center is mainly engaged in the research of micro-satellites, MEMS and sensors, integrated optical gyroscopes, etc. as well as training relevant talents. The center has established the MOE Civil-Military Innovative Research Center for Micro Satellite and Constellation. Since 2010, the center has successfully launched 4 pico- and nano-satellites, and developed several core components that are already applied in over 30 satellites. The center has made outstanding contributions to the development of long-life satellites that applies to industrial-grade devices, the integrated design of pico- and nano-satellites, as well as the design and application of its constellation. The center has achieved numerous awards, including second prize of the Natural Science Award of MOE and first prize of Science and Technology Award of Zhejiang Province.
