Associate Professor Joseph Michalski, the Deputy Director of LSR, is invited to be the guest professor in the 2020 “Planetary Science” Summer School, which is hosted by Comparative Planetary Innovation Centre of CAS (Chinese Academy of Sciences) and USTC (University of Science and Technology of China)

2020 Planetary Science Summer School Introduction:

The 2020 “Planetary Science” Summer School will be hosted by Comparative Planetary Innovation Centre of CAS (Chinese Academy of Sciences) and USTC (University of Science and Technology of China). The summer school will provide a unique platform to track scientific hotspots and cutting-edge research based on teaching planetary science. The summer school lectures cover a wide range of planetary sciences, including cosmic chemistry, space physics, astrobiology, planetary solid physics, planetary geology, etc. This summer school will also be part of the annual activities of the Comparative Planetary Innovation Centre of CAS and USTC. We warmly welcome senior undergraduates, postgraduates and young scientists to join our summer school.

Start time: June 29th-August 12th, 2020

1.Affected by the coronavirus, this year the “Planetary Science” Summer School will mainly be conducted online ( by ZOOM ). We are looking forward to your registration and participation.
2.Time schedule: 29/06/2020-12/08/2020, every Monday and Wednesday in English, every weekends in Chinese. (1:30-2 hours per class)
